Rich Smallwood, Founder of Visual Sense Design, began his design career as a student at Bloc, where he learned user experience design, design process, and front-end development under the full-time mentorship of Chris Courtney. He continued learning online, and went on to work as a Web Designer for a large media company in Irvine, CA where he designed websites, logos, and marketing materials for various media clients such as the California Hospital Association (Yes on Prop 52 Campaign), Colorado State University Global, The Drake Institute and more.
With experience in branding, web design, user experience design, front-end development and marketing, Rich believed he was now positioned to provide real value to small businesses.
In 2018 he founded Visual Sense Design out of his home in Riverside, CA. It's a humble start for a business, but the reputation of quality work, and dedicated service is already starting to take shape, and he's excited to help more small businesses thrive!
